Quirón destacaba por su conocimiento. Es habil con sus manos, “ciruyinteligesabiduria”. Durante un combate fué herido por una flecha empapada en la sangre de la Hidra Lerna, lo que le ocasionaba terribles dolores. Era inmortal y no quería seguir viviendo con este dolor. Por ello cedió su inmortalidad a Prometeo (quien dió el fuego a los hombres). Zeus le colocó en el cielo, con la constelación Sagitario.
Chiron stood out for his knowledge. He was skilled with his hands, “surgyinteligesabiduria”. During a fight he was wounded by an arrow soaked in the blood of the Hydra Lerna, which caused him terrible pain. He was immortal and did not want to continue living with this pain. That is why he gave his immortality to Prometheus (who gave the fire to the men). Zeus placed him in the sky, with the constellation Sagittarius.
Chiron viel op door zijn kennis. Hij is bekwaam met zijn handen, “surgyinteligesabiduria”. Tijdens een gevecht raakte hij gewond door een pijl gedrenkt in het bloed van de Hydra Lerna, die hem verschrikkelijke pijn bezorgde. Hij was onsterfelijk en wilde niet met deze pijn blijven leven. Daarom gaf hij zijn onsterfelijkheid aan Prometheus (die het vuur aan de mannen gaf). Zeus plaatste hem in de lucht, met het sterrenbeeld Boogschutter.
“Mitos – Orfeo y Euridices, Encantamiento de las artes” (Myths – Orpheus and Euridices, Enchantment of the arts)

Orfeo era cantante y músico. Eurídice y Orfeo se enamoraron. El día de la boda una serpiente venenosa mató a Eurídice. Orfeo bajó al mundo de los muertos para pedir a Hades, dios del inframundo, que se la devolvieran. Lo pidió con su música y sus cantos, Hadés se lo concedió con la condición de que no mirara hacia atrás hasta que salieran del inframundo. Euridice tenia todavía un pie en este cuando Orfeo miró hacia atrás y Eurídice se desvaneció para siempre.
Orpheus was a singer and musician. Eurydice and Orpheus fell in love. On the day of the wedding a poisonous snake killed Eurydice. Orpheus went down to the world of the dead to ask Hades, god of the underworld, to return her. He asked with his music and his songs, Hadés granted it on condition that he not looked back until they left the underworld. Euridice still had one foot in it when Orpheus looked back and Eurydice vanished forever.
Orpheus was een zanger en muzikant. Eurydice en Orpheus werden verliefd. Op de dag van de bruiloft doodde een giftige slang Eurydice. Orpheus ging naar de wereld van de doden om Hades, de god van de onderwereld, te vragen haar terug te brengen. Hij vroeg met zijn muziek en zijn liedjes, Hadés verleende het op voorwaarde dat hij niet terugkeek tot ze de onderwereld verlieten. Euridice had nog één voet erin toen Orpheus terugkeek en Eurydice voor altijd verdween.
“Mitos – Icaro el poder de volar” (Myths – Icaro the power to fly)

Icaro estaba retenido con su padre Dédalo en la isla Creta. Dedalo construyó alas con plumas y cera para escapar del rey Minos. Cuando Icaró se acercó demasiado al Sol, su padre ya le había advertido que no lo hiciera, la cera se derritió e Icaró cayó al vacio.
Icaro was detained with his father Daedalus in Crete. Daedalus built wings with feathers and was able to escape from King Minos. When Icaró came too close to the sun, his father had already warned him not to, the wax melted and Icaró fell into a vacuum.
Icaro werd vastgehouden met zijn vader Daedalus op Kreta. Daedalus bouwde vleugels met veren en was om te ontsnappen aan koning Minos. Toen Icaró te dicht bij de zon kwam, had zijn vader hem al gewaarschuwd dat niet te doen, de was smolt en Icaró viel in een vacuüm.
“Mitos – Eros y Afrodita, Constelación Piscis” (Myths – Eros and Aphrodite, Pisces Constellation)

Eros y Afrodita (madre de Eros) fueron sorprendidos por el monstruo Tifón, que les amenazaba. Afrodita sabía que podrían escapar por el agua. Afrodita salva a Eros atandolo a una cuerda. Ambos se transformaron en peces y se salvaron de las maldades de Tifón. La constelación Piscis, madre e hijo, unidos por una cuerda, representa este momento.
Eros and Aphrodite (mother of Eros) were surprised by the monster Typhoon that threatened them. Aphrodite knew they could escape through the water. Aphrodite saved Eros by tying him to a rope. Both were transformed into fish and saved from the evil of Typhoon. The zodiac sign Pisces, mother and son, united by a rope, represents this moment.
Eros en Aphrodite (moeder van Eros) werden verrast door het monster Typhoon, dat hen bedreigde. Aphrodite wist dat ze door het water konden ontsnappen. Aphrodite redt Eros door hem aan een touw te binden. Beide werden getransformeerd in vissen en gered van het kwaad van Typhoon. Het sterrenbeeld Vissen, moeder en zoon, verenigd door een touw, vertegenwoordigt dit moment.
